CeFE

Building upon The Humsafar Trust's thirteen years of experience in the area of male sexual health, the Center for Excellence (CeFE) was set-up as a focal point for the Trust's lessons learned and best practices. Established in 2006, the Center's initial activities core activities were enhancing the skill-sets of INFOSEM members for greater HIV programming and research sexual and social networks of men who have sex with men and transgendered persons.

As it moves forward, the Center aims to be a leader in sexual minority (SM) research by leveraging its experience, networks, and skills. Through CeFE, HST will contribute to the strategic information necessary for effective programming across a spectrum of issues.

The capacity-building assistance component (CBA) of CeFE is meant to enhance the skills of community-based and non-governmental organizations to better serve the SM community.
